Comment Spam at Scottish Blogger

Yesterday someone posted a comment on to my Happy new year post. I thought the comment is genuine and approved it. But today I got many spam comments from people who are expecting improve their link popularity. This reminds me of a post on Asian bloggers blog about comment spam. Come on guys, I am using the lastest version of wordpress and this will add a NOFOLLOW tag to all the links in the comment. You guys won’t get any SE benefit even if those comments are approved by me. So, stop spamming!

Have you tried enabling the Askimet plugin? It’s not perfect, but it does work a treat for stopping the spam.

Nice little place you have here and good to see my old domain going to use, I’ll stop by for a nosey freom time to time :)
