Space, Maintenance And Safety Of Water To Gas Technology
run your car on water - Space, maintenance and safety of water to gas technology
Using water to gas technology for the fueling of vehicles is the most popular form of fueling today. It is the many benefits that this technology offers that an increasing number of people are investing in and making use of this technology.
However for the first time investors, the first few things that strike their mind about this technology is its safety, space requirements and maintenance. In terms of safety, there are no safety hazards related with the technology. Of course, it is true that pure hydrogen is dangerous, and its storage in high pressure tanks is even more dangerous.

However in this water to gas concept, hydrogen is not actually generated; it is HHO that is generated. This presence of water vapor and oxygen in the car makes HHO safe. Though this is a combustible gas, it is not explosive as pure hydrogen; it does not require any cooling and ignites only by the sparks found in the engine.
Moreover, the HHO that is produced here is not stored at all. It gets produced and consumed by the engine when required, making the system safe. Unlike most hydrogen generators, the water to gas system does not require the use of any harsh chemicals in its functioning. All that is required is pure baking soda which provides for maximum safety of both beginner and experienced mechanics.
run your car on water - Minimal maintenance of the unit
Once the water to gas unit is installed, it does not require much of maintenance. At the most, you may have to spend about five minutes a week on it. This can be done by you, by following easy to read instructions. All you require is basic technical skills and perhaps, a local auto repair shop.
The most you have to do is to add about half cup of water every week, and 3 cups of distilled water and a teaspoon of baking soda every 3-6 weeks. Parts, which are hardly required of the unit, are easily and cheaply available at hardware stores. And regarding space for the unit, all you require is a 3.7 inches by 8 inch tall space.
The only thing is that you should have easy access to the device. Perhaps placing it near the washer fluid, the battery or in front of the radiator should be just right for the efficient functioning of the car.
