Will Your Future Employer Act Snobbish About Degrees From Accredited Online Universities

Whether or not your employer will accept your online accredited degree as a legitimate degree is a question that depends upon the employer. But since more and more people apply for online education they will sooner or later have to accept that we are living in the 21st century. For example earn bachelor degree online has become very popular lately.

Your employer will not value your online degree as much as they will from a brick and mortar college. Surprisingly they don’t appreciate a degree from a higher pretige college more than they do from a simple community college. And, of course, an Ivy league degree means more than that from the local state college.

However some employers are a bit snobbish about degrees it will get you ready for an interview. It is the only chance to show them what you are capable of. But from the moment they can see for themselves that you are a good candidate for the job the degree becomes secondary.

There is still some doubt about online accredited degrees but luckily more and more employers do start to understand the value of furthering education. Many people understand that not everyone has the choice to go to four years of college after high school. A lot of people can’t leave their families because they have to support them and therefore the only possibility is to apply for an online education so that they can still work their full time job.

Suppose for a second that you are an employer. You have two prospective employees. One of them worked and put himself through online college. His grades were more than good and he operated in the field of his education. At the same time he had to support his mother at home.

The other candidate had his parents pay for his college education and never worked a day in his life. He spent five years getting his degree because obviously atended pore parties than studying.
