Whether or not your employer will accept your online accredited degree as a legitimate degree is a question that depends upon the employer. But since more and more people apply for online education they will sooner or later have to accept that we are living in the 21st century. Your employer will not value your online degree as much as they will from a brick and mortar college. Surprisingly they don’t appreciate a degree from a higher pretige college more than they do from a simple community college. And, of course, an Ivy league degree means more than that from the local state college.

However some employers are a bit snobbish about degrees it will get you ready for an interview. It is the only chance to show them what you are capable of. But from the moment they can see for themselves that you are a good candidate for the job the degree becomes secondary.

Who is the better employee for the job? It is not only the degree that will qualify you for a job. Of course you will still need your degree but during the interview you have to show what you know. Know that when time goes by more employers will see the value of someone who has got an online degree.
